For mills and ferro alloy producers the message is that continuity of supply — iron ore, coking coal and alloy inputs — is becoming a stated national priority rather than an afterthought. Buyers should expect policy support for domestic sourcing, mine auctions and logistics to keep strengthening as the deadline nears, since every tonne of the 2030 target depends on inputs being available at workable cost.
